On February 13, 2007, Southern Ontario Gateway Council organized a
Transportation Outlook Forum. Each of the major transportation modes
provided an overview of the state of the transportation system in Southern
Ontario from the perspective of their individual mode. There was
considerable agreement on the need for action in key areas such as
infrastructure investment, cross border optimization and integrated
transportation planning.
